Green area adoptions

In many towns and communities, green area adopting is a common practice which works wonderfully.

Stade would like to follow this example and make progress in this direction, since today involvement in civil affairs is very important.

Fortunately much of Stade is "green", with its plant beds, green traffic islands, and other green areas. Unfortunately the town's gardeners do not always have enough time to take sufficient care of all of the areas. Citizens have in the past repeatedly commented that several of the green areas required more care or needed to be redeveloped.

Several citizens can adopt a green area together. More extensive measures are being taken by our town gardeners in co-operation with the adopters. The costs for this are covered by the city.
