The coastal highway A 22 is extraordinarily important for the future of north-western Germany, and the discussion about this project absolutely must pick up in tempo. This is the background of a twelve page brochure in which the most important questions about the most important construction measures are asked and answered. It is rounded off by short but concise statements by representatives of the communities and the economy. A special note is lent by the fact that the publishers consist of several chambers of industry and commerce as well as communities of the Elbe-Weser and Weser-Ems regions. This is the first time they have shown communal engagement of this form for the transit project, which they believe should be implemented as soon as possible.

Retail concept for Stade

The GMA, a company for market and sales research, presents Stade with recommendations for a retail concept for the town.

In a public event held on 08/10/2003 in Königsmarcksaal, Peter Burger of the GMA presented his suggestions for a retail concept in Stade. Two workshops were held in which the recommendations were discussed with representatives from the political, administrative, and commercial sectors in order to develop a viable commercial concept. Commerical zone for "expansion" for the third time with guests from Stade

On 16.06.2004, the trade fair "expansion" for commercial zones, property, and financing will take place for the third time. The Agencies for the Promotion of Economic Development of the Hamburg metropolitan region are hosting the event. The event will take place in at the CCH in Hamburg. At the trade fair in June 2003, the City of Stade was represented together with the City of Buxtehude, the Stade-Altes Land Bank, the Bank of Stade-Cuxhaven, the engineer office of Prof. Hoins and Partner, as well as the Agency for the Promotion of Economic Development of the Administrative District of Stade at one stand which they all shared.
