Karlshamn lies in the heart of the Blekinge province and offers a wide programme of cultural and entertainment activities. The province is also known as the Garden of Sweden for its beautiful natural landscape.

Karlshamm is also considered the trade centre of Blekinge.

Every year there is an athletic exchange at which young Germans and Swedes get to know each other.
